Emotive Portraits

Capturing an emotional bond in photography can be a precious moment.

"Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood." Marie Curie

You can try to pose your subjects in pleasing compositions, but it's the spontaneous natural responses and feelings happening in the reality of the surroundings that has the most impact.

When I have created an image like this, finding the right text to compliment, can re-enforce the strong emotional bond that is portrayed.

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart" Helen Keller

The words aide in telling the story.

"A stubborn horse walks behind you, an impatient horse walks in front of you, but a noble companion walks beside you."

Telling ones' story is the bases of my photographic studies.
