A marvelous bird is the Pelican.
His beak can hold more than his belly can.
He can store in his beak
Enough food for a week
And I don't know how the hell 'e can.
His beak can hold more than his belly can.
He can store in his beak
Enough food for a week
And I don't know how the hell 'e can.
My reprieve from the (relatively mild) Winter in the Northeast, led me to a special island off the coast of Florida.
I had almost forgotten how therapeutic and tranquil the atmosphere in Florida can be.
It had been several years since I had spent time there, and I immediately felt the mellowness and laid back feeling induced by the warm breezes and flowing palm trees.
The sun dazzles me and embraces.
The hues in the sky and sea - mesmerize.
I contemplate the Pelican.
And the poem I heard many years ago.
